Growing up in the Annapolis Valley, a major agricultural hub in Nova Scotia, company co-founder Joshua Eaton has been around farming/fishing most of his life. On his mother’s side of the family, they have been farming locally and square net fishing from the Gaspereau River for generations.

The COVID Pandemic let Joshua asking about questions about food safety and security. It was a family decision to make sure they could provide some of the basic needs for their family.

The project started off with plans for a basic chicken coop for egg production only. Plans for growing meat chickens were added along with a 20/7 live stream.

Not only is this a family project, but it’s also a community project. We may need assistance in many areas, so please check out our official project website for more details.

We are also looking for other families to join in our project for more than just Chickens/Eggs.
